All was quiet at 7AM when Barbara and Lonny Hopler arrived to
start setting up the Cesky booth.
|
|
The aisles looked wide and were empty but for vendors and
other breed booth participants.

Even though there were 160 booths for dog breeds and 41
for cat breeds, it was easy to naviagate because they were arranged in alphaetical order (with a separate section for the
cats).

|
By 9AM all was ready at the Cesky booth, and Barbara and
Smiezka were ready to greet the crowd. (Sydney Cassel at rear.)

And crowds there were! According to the AKC, 36,000
people visited the event over its two days.
|
|
Sometimes it seemed like they were there all at the same
time.

We were particularly glad to share
the Ceskies (Smiezka on the right, Gunther on the left) with
two ladies who were actually from the Czech Republic! (Pictured below)

By the end of the day, both the dogs and people were
tired. (Barbara and Harry)
